other tools I noticed were pads (passive.sourceforge.net/) and fwknop
(www.cipherdyne.com/fwknop/ ). I haven't used these tools, but looking

Need some help and information on fingerprinting and testing

firewalls. Are there none?
One aim of a firewall is to be fingerprintproof so
if usual fingerprint tools : p0f, nmap, nessus , don't work,
you can try ike-scan if your firewall is also a VPN gateway.
