Hello Javier,
I do the same thing using vmware + snapshots. In this way you can also put more virtual machines on one physical machine, virtualize a bigger network (offering more OS possibilities in the same time) and simply revert to the initial snapshots every night.
I use Vmware Server (esx was not available when I started to play)
hope it helps
Mike

Subject: Recover full environment
Hi pentesters
I have some old computers (pentium 3) in my basement and I wanna use
them as training servers, not just for me but also for my friends.
I've been thinking in DVL (damn vulnerable linux), although any other
option is welcome. In any way, they're intent to be some kind easy to
root and I don't want to reinstall them every short time manually, so
the question is:
Is there any software/script/methodology that you recommend me to
restore their full environment every night?
Thanks in advance and excuse my poor english.
