And a sometime poster, under hanssen () orion clark net, to comp.sys.laptops,
comp.sys.palmtops.pilot, and : alt.comp.sys.palmtops.pilot, at least
according to groups.google.com (formerly Deja).
This latest post on Valentine's day is interesting...I don't remember reading
about anything other than his Palm III...maybe Carnivore isn't as effective
on newsgroups. :)

Subject: 3.5 Question
Newsgroups: alt.comp.sys.palmtops.pilot

I have a Palm IIIx which I upgraded the OS on to 3.5.2. When I did, I
still got the old style menu with no list option. In order to see the
programs in the newer style I needed to click on the Applications icon.
I now have a Palm Vx. It showed up of course with the new style of
applications selector on first booting. After I synched over my
information and applications from the Palm IIIx, however, I now have
reverted to the old style selection icon menu as the default.
When I synched I saw a bunch of files get transfered of course and some
I didn't recognize which seemed administrative. Obviously, one of these
'updated' my new Vx to the look and feel of the original 3.0 Palm IIIx.
Does anyone know how I can fix this easily?
