Declan,

Here's something you might want to pass on to your Politechbot readers
or whatever the successor is to the fight-censorship mailing list.

Some anonymous poet has encoded the entire DeCSS descrambling
algorithm in haiku form, mixed in with a bit of commentary about
mathematics, physics, and poetry.  And he included all the tables!
It's quite a nice little piece to read.  Let's see the MPAA try to
censor THIS:

I have no idea who the author is; he contacted me through an anonymous
remailer.  Another little piece of news:  the MPA sent me a legal threat
about my web site, and I wrote back to them, asking some very embarassing
questions.  They haven't said a word since:
