FC: Politech semi-hiatus for a while; clarification on MPAA
From: Declan McCullagh <declan () well com>
Date: Mon, 28 Jul 2003 12:18:20 -0400

I'll be traveling to Vegas and at portions of the Black Hat and Defcon conferences for the next week so Politech will be slow for a while.

Also below see the MPAA's response to last Friday's Politech post:

Hi Declan..FYI...the lawyer cited as working for the MPAA has not, in fact, done work for us in over three years. Also, after checking with him, he denied representing himself as such to the reporter. Apparently, whomever pointed AP to him to begin with said that he worked with us and that stuck. Just an FYI

Hope you are well.

Rich
