OpenVAS and Packetfence

Hello,
we want to use OpenVAS to scan the Clients for / after registration in
Packetfence. Is there a tutorial how to config OpenVAS and Packetfence to
work together? I only found the PF admin guide.

How can i config, what OpenVAS has to scan?
How can i config, what PF has to do, if OpenVAS found something?

Hi,

I am testing openvas on rhel6.0 and I downloaded/installed all packages.

But I am not able start openvas-manager, and I can see the login
information says that OMP service is down.

Openssh LSC with RSA key authentication

I'm currently trying to use ssh key authentication for LSC.
With openvas 5, I can easyly provide my own generated key with

Using a DSA openssh key is fine (converting the ssh key to pkcs8 form as

Hello,
i installed OpenVAS on SL6.

[root () localhost ~]# cd /tmp
[root () localhost tmp]# wget -q -O -
http://www.atomicorp.com/installers/atomic |sh
[root () localhost tmp]#yum install openvas
[root () localhost tmp]#openvas-setup

After the setup i tested it with openvas-check-setup. Here the log:

Hi Team

I am trying to install openvas on a fedora13 system and getting error
for openvas-libnasl while doing make. I tried searching in google but
couldn't find the valid reply.

I downloaded
openvas-libraries-2.0.4.tar.gz

Thanks for spotting this. There's an error in the brief case of GET_TASKS.
If you add details="1" to GET_TASKS those values should be correct.

It's solved in trunk r13478 and backported to OpenVAS-5 in r13479. Will be
in the next OpenVAS-5 Manager release.

Just checked, as an alternative without advertisements, https://savannah.nongnu.org/ provides
http://download.savannah.gnu.org with automatic mirroring (You can use a direct download url .savannah.gnu.org and it
will automatically choose a geographically close mirror).

I should have added that I'd prefer a site where we can
use a direct download URL. And without advertisements
around the download annoying the users.

Not sure whether Google or Sourceforge do allow so.
