Just type in netstat -a. If there is any ports listening on your computer it should be shown here. If it is listening with 0.0.0.0:0 it means port has full access to your comp... I think?!? Anyways if there are wierd open ports shown here then it will be shown, although you need to note that many ports are open and in this state which are suppose to be there, so don't jump to any conclusions.

The best way to check if INSIDERZ is opening any ports is to issue a netstat -a command before installation and then install it and do the same. Then compare the results.
