i tested it too under linux Slackware 8.1 beta1
these are the results:

konqueror 3.0.1
crashed after 2 second

On:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.4.1) Gecko/20020314 
Netscape6/6.2.2 

After pressing the snash button
cpu 98.8% and low memory usage
after some minutes i had the following situation

 7661 mailer    17   0  463M 181M  6200 R    68.1 72.9   5:34 mozilla-bin


then i killed the process
