Hello, a little trick to undestand if we are talking with a bind 8.x.x 
or 9.x.x is thisone:
>dig @xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx authors.bind. chaos txt

On this command the bind will reply with the list of the authors on bind 
9, and will reply noting on bind 8...
