Application Center 2000 Vulnerabilities?

Hey all,
Aside from the additional open ports, does anyone know of specific vulnerabilities for MS App Center 2000? The web developers in my org want to use it in our DMZ to synch files between two web servers. I've looked around a bit and am not coming up with a down side yet. Any info appreciated. Thanks much in advance.
