List administrivia - untrimmed replies

Hi there,

When replying to list messages, please take the time to trim away excess
baggage from your replies.

If you use Outlook or similar, please remove old message bodies which are no
longer relevant. 

ie:

Reply n-1

-- 

Reply n-2
...

Consider removing Reply n-2 and older, and trimming reply n-1 to just those
aspects you are responding to.

If you use Unix style e-mail clients, please trim away everything besides
correct attribution and the lines you wish to respond to, like this:

Normally, I wouldn't get too worried about it, but our digest readers have
to wade through heaps of repetitive noise to get to the one or two lines
which might be of interest to them.
