I'll second that. IMO it is a serious breach of netiquette to modify
postings in such a way without even notifying subscribers of the fact.
(In some jurisdictions such modifications may even be illegal.)

I don't want my name associated with any products that are advertised in
this forum, so please make it absolutely clear that the ad wasn't included
by me.
