FYI: i've _seen_ data intercepted from X.25 satellite link.
Damn sensitive data of all kinds and different protocols.
The hardware is expensive but..

And - [at least] goverment agencies (i am speaking for Russia but i am nearly
sure other countries can do the same) have fu^H^H really enough horsepower to
decypher things that were not encrypted properly.

And people who work there are just humans.
