PIX 520 not booting

Hi All,

I inherited a PIX 520 (aarg!)

Some problems...

"Someone" tried to upgrade the IOS to 6.22 without checking the flash size.
Bad move, so now it doesn't boot.
"Someone else" them thought the problem was BIOS related (dont ask), and
removed the battery. Successfully flashing the BIOS. So now it doesnt even
try to boot from the stiffy/floppy. 
So I cant try to boot from BootHelper.
Hyperterm shows nothing. Is it a good idea to put a vga card in to see if I
can get the BIOS fixed?
Anyone ever done that? I dont see place for keyboard on the motherboard. 

Or do I just take it downstairs to keep the front door open.

ANY ideas please.
