I have noticed a lot of traffic today regarding this topic. Since October 2nd, I have been using a freebie...and it's AWESOME! It uses Sophos virus protection as the actual scanner, but you can go to http://www.mailscanner.info and get it. I believe it works on most versions of Linux, etc. They have GREAT support if you need it...it's very easy to configure...PLUS it can do SPAM filtering as well! Check it out....I have been thoroughly pleased with the performance and results. It pulled an infected file within 2 hours of installation. It notifies the sys admin, the sender, and the recipient of the infection.
