Hello Xueyan,

        Everytime someone asks me that question, my answer is always "How paranoid 
are you??"

        Jokes aside, a properly secured linksys/netgear soho router is sufficient for 
most home needs. For offices, it depends on your nature of business and what 
kind of data are you trying to protect. Anything that is sensitive 
(financial, law firms come to mind) you'll probably want to secure your 
network with more than just a multi-purpose soho router/firewall...

My $0.02....what do the other security gurus think?
