-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
Do you know how to encrypt the proces of authentication betwen the browser and squid proxy? We like to use the same login name and password for NT and squid, but doing so we expose the password of the NT users based in the fact that the browser code the password in base64.
I am not sure about this, but you can set squid to use PAM for authentication. If I remember correctly, you can instruct PAM to use an NT-server for authentication. - -- Regards, Andre -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+e2o0QFPR+PU8tU8RAvf/AJ9DQrO2szBFqUJGnaZ+Ptrlat9DAACcDFYk LHK15iZmp5EBVmwCnJs0TOU= =3RJd -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------- SurfControl E-mail Filter puts the brakes on spam, viruses and malicious code.
