Any snmp-based software can handle all of what you describe. I mean *anything* capable of receiving snmp traps. Just enable snmp on the server(s) you need to log. Send the traps to your log server. Any *nix box with the syslog d would do fine. On my dreaded Windoze boxes, I use Kiwi http://www.kiwisyslog.com. It is free. -----Original Message----- From: Juan F Falcon [mailto:jfalcon () vmbc com] Sent: Thursday, November 27, 2003 8:27 AM To: cisspforum () yahoogroups com; security-basics () securityfocus com Subject: Log Management Software Guys, Hi!
