The first version of the Owl is available. Owl is an open source software used to monitor the connectivity and the changes of a web page. Its creates the MD5sum of each page to be monitored and regularly (default to every 20 min) access the web site to check if the MD5sum has changed and if the connectivity is ok. If the site is not responding, an e-mail is sent to the owner of the site (specified in the owlsite.conf file). If the MD5sum has changed, Owl checks which lines changed and send an e-mail informing what happened to the site owner. One of the features of Owl, is that you can configure some lines to be ignored (like the lines that display the date, time ,etc) and it can be configured to send the e-mail to more than one user.
