I won't reveal what was actually on the

I have a personal way of putting it: "CISSP Exam Questions are grey-scale
questions requiring a black-and-white answer" (c) 2003 A. Bottonelli - may be
quoted with the (c) notice :-) :-) :-) Yet, I recognize that the
methodology behid them is solid. You really have to know the subject matter
to master that kind of questions.

1) What was the first thing you did after Officially becoming a CISSP?

Sent tons of emails to clients and prospects just to make sure they knew
too... :-)

2) Did your career take a turn or did it stay more or less the same?

Mild turn, nothing exciting, but my motivation was actually more of
self-satisfaction than professional. In the Southern EU, CISSP is not yet
highly recognized, so I didn't expect too much.

3) What's the MOST lucrative field right now... and what additional certs
beyond CISSP are required?

Here in the EU, Data Privacy is looking good. To be on the safe side I also
certified as BS7799 Lead Auditor, under the motive "CISSP certifies my techie
know-how, BS7799 my organizational know-how of security". Some clients buy
it, others simply don't understand what the heck I'm talking about.

4) i don't want to leave my job just yet.. so a bonus or raise would be
nice. Could you recommend a good negotiation strategy that i can use in
conjunction with having the cissp cert?

Do not know on your side of the pond, but here in the EU the job market is
not at its best. Here you would have a chanche if you could prove to your
employer that your cert either/both generates extra revenues for him/her
(maybe because s/he can sell your time to clients at extra charge) or you can
do more things more effectively.

My 2 Eurocents worth :-)
