Agreed and well put, but how long will it take to gather enough weak packets in home use for cracking strong WEP? Has anyone tried it? I gave it a shot in my home, and after five days I still didn't have enough to crack 128 bit. This was under average use for us. I submit that, by the time the guy has enough to hack ya, you'd find out about him. Of course, the one time I'd say otherwise is in like a townhome or apartment community. Then I'd guess it'd be tough. I think I just disproved my point. :) G
WEP, in my opinion is pointless and annoying. Anyone who knows anything, with a bit of time should be able to break wep. My 2 cents. -Jack Nguy
