Juan, I think you almost had it right.. Perhaps you were looking for os detection when you specified -o. The right switch is -O since it is case sensitive. Then you'll get output similar to.. Host: 123.456.789.012 () Ports: 21/closed/tcp//ftp///, 23/closed/tcp//telnet///, 25/closed/tcp//smtp///, 80/closed/tcp//http///, 135/closed/tcp//msrpc///, 136/closed/tcp//profile///, 137/closed/tcp//netbios-ns///, 138/closed/tcp//netbios-dgm/// Hope this helps.. -- Kevin White <kwhite () ci collierville tn us>
