I am using ad-aware for past 3 years and also I have never read anything about it coming with spyware. I have so far 
have found it completely safe. Unless someone has any other info.

Maybe my memory miserves me but I thought I remember
reading in the news that a few months back people
found that ad-aware was installing something along
with it.  I have been looking for articles on this and
found nothing.  Is my mind failing in my old age? 
Does anyone know what I am talking about and perhaps
has a link to an article from a news site?
