Go up to websites like www.netsol.com or www.godaddy.com and you can find info they have on securing your domain plus little services they offer to keep your information private.

It seems there has been a number of these. I am transferring my own domain to a new registrar and its taking 4 emails from different people and 5 business days as safe guards.

I'll be glad to get into additional specifics if anyone has questions. I believe I still have all the email and paperwork that it took to resolve the
matter.

Ouch. The question is how does one prevent something like this
to happen? I cannot afford to have this happen to the domains I own
or even the domains my company owns. It would cause havok to say
the least.
