Internet Banking Security and Privacy

Hello All,
 
I am also interested in internet banking security as well as privacy related issues such as privacy practices, 
principles, and requirements regarding internet banking.  The alumni committee is considering paypal.com or propay.com 
websites as a possible solution for collecting payments for fundraising and membership activities.  Is anyone using 
either one of these sites?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated
