The Java applet bypasses your browser's proxy settings.

I wonder why it can't get my real IP address then?

Under "We know about you" it says:
Java is enabled
VBScript is enabled and working
JavaScript is enabled and working

but the domain name IP is the same as the proxy domain IP (using findnot.com, btw).
