Hi Group Are there any other websites that provide detours or proxy into the Internet? I am trying to help a friend who said that she couldn't go to certain websites at work. They ban certain key words. For example, religious words. If she were to do a search on YMCA, the company blocks the search results because its a religious-related word. I tried to recommend websites like: http://proxify.com/ and http://www.anonymizer.com/ It didn't work, as the company already blocked out those sites. I remember there are quite a few. As I didn't save my favourite when I formatted my PC. I can't remember which are those sites. I tried google research already. But not much luck. Any pointers would be very much appreciated. I'm going to have to take the cowards way out in this, and just dodge all the moral/ethical justifications and judgments on their worthiness. Instead, I'll just approach this from a technical PoV, and offer Tor as a solution. Touted by the EFF, Tor is an Onion-routing implementation which passes your connect to an entry server, a middle server, and then out of an exit server. The idea is, even if one server is compromised, the final destination is still obscured. Of course, it requires some installation; so if they've locked down her workstation, or require traffic to run through a decently restrictive proxy; then it may not work. -- Neil. http://voidfx.net "Your past is always going to be the way it was.
