Restrict Access to Shared Folder with Encryption Key Rather than Password

Hey all, does anyone know of software that can restrict access to a shared folder via a encryption certificate.  
Ideally this would be stand alone software, meaning windows/linux servers not required.  All to be hosted on an winxp 
pro machine?
