Thanks for the fast responses!

Now I have much stuff to read ;-)

But how does a Smartcard work. I got some with my cardreader and one i
got on Ebay (SLE4428 -M8P).
I need a CSP (Cryptographic Service Provider), don't I ?
And a software for the cards to write information (operating system???) on?
Is there a standard software or do i have to find out the manufacturer
of the cards and get it from him?
