Thanks for the fast responses! Now I have much stuff to read ;-) But how does a Smartcard work. I got some with my cardreader and one i got on Ebay (SLE4428 -M8P). I need a CSP (Cryptographic Service Provider), don't I ? And a software for the cards to write information (operating system???) on? Is there a standard software or do i have to find out the manufacturer of the cards and get it from him? :
Hi all, for a project, i want to realize a smartcard-logon with a Microsoft Certification Authority. I read that this is possible without further Software but only three Chipcard manufacturers are supported.. I am a Newbiee on this topic. Can anybody tell me wich cards will work? Is there a good HOWTO or book? (English or German). I have got a Smartcard (SLE4428 - M8P (unknown manufacturer) ) For this i would need a CSP???? I have no idea about it... Please help me...
