Actually all the 'Expire After' option does on most systems is put a
line through the message and inform the person that the message has
expired. Wish I had a better solution to provide, but I haven't found
one either.

If you are using Outlook, you could set the 'Expire After' option
under the Delivery options.

       Hi,

There's any way to 'auto-destroy' na email sent after N days?

I'd like to send an email to someone and after N days the email
became unreadeble. Is that possible? I thougth about a certificate
that
expires. Will that work? Does something like that exists?

Thanks alot.
