Mohamad, What is your question ? The important of having a security officer or the importance of network security within in your enterprise. Having a security officer does not necessarily provide the 'importance' factor for an organization regarding security. Having executive management that supports implementing security and providing the resources for doing the right thing should be more of a focus for your organization. Unless you work for a very large organization ( employee count > 5000), having a security officer often confuses executive management, a director of security or director of IT with some focus on security IT related often eases the pain for executive management. But if you do go shopping for a security officer, make sure the person has a command of the English language, has the ability to insert f-bombs in their statements to shock and astound executive management. -----Original Message-----

I have googled the topic, but not much was found. I would really benefit from your suggestions on how to approach the management. -Mohamad. *********************************************************************************************************************************** No employee or agent is authorized to conclude any binding agreement on behalf of Comium with another party by e-mail without expressed written confirmation by an officer of Comium.
