Hey Dan,

AppSense have a product called Environment Manager which has a functionility called self-healing. This can track file changed and revert them back to the original if changed. I also think you can do this passivly so it won't revert it but it will track it. I think it's quite inexpensive too.

Never used it, but I think it is free and does similar to Tripwire.

Tripwire is awfully expensive for a small company... there must be something
in the freeware realm or at least something cheaper that accomplishes the
same thing as Tripwire.
