RE: any recommendable anti-ddos solution?

Think when there is an exploit, a RST reset is sent
killing the packet stream. Not sure if all the IPS or
HIPS solutions do support DDOS and other exploits.
Just FYI: Are there any other open source HIPS/IPS
solutions out there other than Snort/Honey net.
Do these commercial tools offer support for IP
spoofing protection as well?
How about enterprise management in the case of remote
devices. Policy and group management and reporting,
are there open source tools as well.
Most often than not when IPS/IDS solutions are
referred, there are two broad categories:
1. Standard fixed line IPS/HIPS/IDS
2. Wireless IPS solutions/scanners running at the
physical and data link layer (the likes of open source
tools such as Kismet)
Are there any solutions that integrate both offering
complete protection to simplify enterprise end point
management
Thanks
Vijay K
