Latest Trend in IT Security

Hi All,
 
I'm in the midst of doing a market analysis in IT Security and the
services that some security vendors offer, in order to figure out what
is the current and latest trend that most companies would adopt this
year...  
I've discovered from several sites and articles that the demands are as
follows:
 
- Data Loss Prevention against sensitive corporate or organization
information
- Wireless Security
- Risk Assessment 
- Application Security 
- Email Protection against SPAM, SPIT, SPIM
 
Network Security in terms of IDS/IPS and even SIM solutions does not
seemed to be a popular trend in this year, however, the demand for Log
Management services seemed to be rising slowly in certain regions.
 
I do not want to be influenced by the sales and marketing strategies
that have been broadcasted on the web or by some vendors who's trying to
boost their products and services. Therefore, I would very much
appreciate to hear all your views from this mailing list that you would
like to share, in terms of technical and business point of view - on the
type of IT Security trends that you've experienced or foresee in the
upcoming or today's market.
