Hi Vijay,

What is the command u r using?
Are you mentioning the destination IP/Network properly?

Are you able to ping external network from ur Virtual machine?.....take packet capture on host machine on which u 
installed VMWare.....this capture shud reflect source ip of VMWare and destination ip of IP you are scanning. If the 
capture is fine then there might be some other issue.
