you're spot on rohnskii. clearly skype is not packaging this product for us IT folk. they're packaging it for the 
enduser, and making it as easy as possible to setup for the enduser. we've got several layers in place to block skype. 
it still shows up occasionally, but it will not work. 


and to krymson's comment..
 about what will you tell the CFO..
I think that there are plenty of examples in the news archives about those who ignored common sense. the cost of being 
in the news, and having your name drug through the mud doesn't really have a finite cost. if it did, then you could 
calculate your cost/benefit. If they wanna use skype to communicate, then why not use bearshare for file transfers 
while they're at it?
