getting routes from internet facing routers

ah ok, so escentially the reason why we don't want to put private
routes on boxes with "untrusted" connections is so that if somebody
were to exploit a vulnerability, we've somewhat mitigated the risk.
Are there any other reasons ?

As you may know, Juniper firewalls have 2 routers built in, the
trust-vr and untrust-vr.  And they recommend putting the internet
routing in the untrust-vr and private routing in the trust-vr.
However, they're still running on the same screenOS so if there was a
vulnerability, surely an attacker would still be able to get both
routing tables ?

thanks !
