Nothing is unbreakable. ;) Colin Percival (The FreeBSD security head) wrote a blog entry on this not too long ago: http://www.daemonology.net/blog/2009-06-11-cryptographic-right-answers.html He recommends AES with 256 bit keys in Counter Mode, SHA-256, and so on.
