Both of them have some shortcomings, and may fail to work with the Flash
on some sites. One problem area is Flash videos, which unfortunately
includes YouTube -- but there are options for YouTube that don't require
the use of a Flash player plugin at all. One example is to use a tool
called "youtube-dl" to download the video and a media player such as
MPlayer to play it:
