Encryption is the new "lock on the filecabinet" and digital signatures are the equivalent of physical signatures. The only problem is getting the infrastructure in place and training users how and when to use it (or taking the shotgun approach and maybe enabling it by default for everything, to start with at least). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Securing Apache Web Server with thawte Digital Certificate In this guide we examine the importance of Apache-SSL and who needs an SSL certificate.
