The German SS officer probes Rick's loyalties in
The presence of a corrupt Vici France official.

"Rick is completely neutral."  -- Vici France Official
"What is your nationality?" --- German SS Officer
"I am a drunkard." -- Rick, owner of Rick's place in Casablanca.

Let see who the cast is this time...

Dave acts like Rick.
But, no one wants to be the part of the German SS Officer.
Some, who enjoy corrupt use of authority, may wish to play other parts.

Now, Dave, I hope that I can safely assume you do not hold human life as
the cheapest of commodities?

If human life has a worth and probing the frontier of computer security
also has a value, then the best I can hope is that Ingrid Bergman will
show up soon and ask Sam to play it again.

Hopefully, Victor Laslow will sing the French National Anthem and we
will all re-affirm our purpose to resisting the cursed Nazi's.  I do not
think it would be wise to hide the stolen visas in the piano this time.

Now that my odd sense of humor has had its day.  Could Rick/Dave return
to treading that thin line between information security hope and
despair?

One person's terrorist is another's freedom fighter. I'm not defending
(or
attacking) anyone, but people bandying about terrorist/terrorism has
become
quite tiring to me of late. The increasing likelihood of being legally
relegated to second class citizenship is also becoming bothersome. It's
the
same narrowness as far as I'm concerned.
