For those python lovers, there is also distorm from ragestorm.net.  I've
had good luck with it.

Distorm seems like just yet another stream disassembler, but the
quickest I've seen... interesting functionality. Very interesting.


I think no one mentioned libdasm and its Python wrapper pydasm
(http://www.nologin.net/main.pl?action=codeView&codeId=49&;) which I
happen to like and use quite a bit, probably worth taking a look into.
IIRC, it does not support AMD64 tho.
