I'm very concerned about Google "Spying" and selling information it has
access to.

I've found that using Google Toolbar to search for people by using the
person's name results in Facebook asking me whether that person is a friend
and whether I'd like to connect to that person. I can only assume that
Google is selling my searches to Suppliers such as Facebook.

Subject: [SECURITY] Gmail for students and IMAP

Can anybody share their experience with Gmail for student email accounts and
IMAP access? I am particularly interested in IMAP account configuration and
authentication.

Thanks,
