We have a scheduled maintenance every month (every 3rd Thursday at 10 PM to Friday 6 AM). During this maintenance 
update time any and all services may be interrupted. If we do not need to use the time, users are notified.

If it is an emergency, then we provide as much notice as we can, but sometimes that notice may be zero.

Our campus is looking at the possibility of having regularly scheduled outages for system updates and patches.  
Obviously on a college campus, the users want access to every system 24x7, but that is not realistic.  So, I'm poking 
this group to see what you all do for maintenance schedules.
