I brought this up to my CIO and he seemed interested. One suggestion that he had is that this be cross posted to the CIO mailing list to gain more visibility to those that may have access to the checkbook. Regards, Jim Please let me know if there is anything additional I can assist you with to ensure the service you received today has been excellent. James R. Securing The Human provides extensive employee security awareness training that targets today's weakest link in enterprise security - the human. Nineteen online training modules cover topics such as social engineering, using e-mail safely, smartphone security, and FERPA. A full list of the modules is included in the attached document that describes the offering. Each module includes an online assessment. Student progress through the program can be tracked via a site administration web interface. The special pricing is a time-limited opportunity. There is a 45-day commitment window from May 1 to June 15 during which each purchasing organization must supply a letter of intent with the number of seats they guarantee to purchase. The letter must be signed by an authorized purchaser. Organizations will have until July 30, 2011 to process their payment or purchase order. The pricing target is $1.15 per seat, based on an anticipated aggregate of 200,000 seats combined in state, local, territorial, and educational institution purchases. To introduce the offer, a flyer is attached, and REN-ISAC will host a webcast for higher education institutions on Wednesday May 4 at 1:00pm EDT. The webcast will provide opportunity for interactive Q&A. The webcast requires Adobe Flash on the viewing computer. Details are at: http://www.ren-isac.net/programs/sth2011/ If you're unable to make it to the live webcast, an archive will be available for viewing, at the same web link. If you have questions after reviewing the attached flyer and viewing the webcast, please contact Julie Evans at info () msisac org Regards, Doug Pearson Technical Director, REN-ISAC http://www.ren-isac.net 24x7 Watch Desk +1(317)278-6630 [1] Research and Education Networking Information Sharing and Analysis Center (REN-ISAC) http://www.ren-isac.net [2] Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC) http://www.msisac.org/
