Has anyone who uses SpamAssassin experienced any difficulties in delivering mail that originates from Korean (kr) mail systems, or is composed in the Korean language? Or both?
Not here, and we have a lot of foreign students (I don't know how many are Korean). Here we consider anything that scores above 5 spam and mark it as such in one of the SpamAssassin headers. Anything over 10 gets "(UCI-DISCARD?" in the Subject: header as well, to help indicate that it's probably junk. We don't discard email based on SpamAssassin score - we let the users decide what do to with the spam email, and provide them with an easy web page way to do that. Anything that looks like phishing email gets quarantined until someone looks at it and either trashes it or releases it (if it was a false positive, which are very rare). -- Mike Iglesias Email: iglesias () uci edu University of California, Irvine phone: 949-824-6926 Office of Information Technology FAX: 949-824-2270
