Securing the eCampus 2012: July 17-18 at Dartmouth College

For the past five years CIOs, CISOs and other academic IT leaders have 
met in Hanover, NH to discuss how information security has become a 
significant campus-wide concern and an institution-wide responsibility. 
We are pleased to announce the 6th Annual "Securing the eCampus" 
conference and invite you to join us this year in discussing the unique 
challenges of cyber security in academia and what it takes to build a 
culture of security at your institution.

On Tuesday, July 17th, we will feature a combination of 
presentations and panel discussions from leaders in the information 
security field.  The second day, July 18th, will include break-out and 
training sessions in the morning that allow participants to discuss 
specific topic areas in smaller groups and in a more informal setting. 
 The conference will conclude after lunch on the 18th.

This year we are fortunate to include among our presenters:

   * *Dickie George* - Senior Advisor for Cyber Security at the Johns
     Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory speaking on "Espionage and
     Cyber Crime: Life as a Target"
   * *Rodney Petersen* - Managing Director of the Washington Office and
     Senior Government Relations Officer at EDUCAUSE providing an
     update on government policies and their potential effects on the
     higher ed community
   * *Dennis Cox *- Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of
     BreakingPoint/ /speaking about emerging network security threats
   * *Ed Pittman - *Associate Dean for Campus Life and
     Diversity, Vassar College, will speak on cyber ethics and IT policy
   * *Joshua Rosenthol - *Senior Federal Product Manager of the
     Websense Security Labs discussing the /Websense Threat Report 2012/
   * *Laura Posey -* Senior Security Strategist at Microsoft and
     Volunteer Leadership with the Cloud Security Alliance speaking
     about cloud security
   * *Jonathan Razo -* Chief Security & Compliance Officer, IBM
     Research Division speaking on best practices for securing
     sensitive data

The registration fee for the conference is *$125* and includes 
breakfast, lunch, snacks and a networking event on July 17th and 
breakfast, lunch and snacks on July 18th.

We have set aside a block of rooms for the conference at the Six South 
Street Hotel in Downtown Hanover.  The cutoff date for both room blocks
