Greetings,

Lance Spitzner (SANS Securing The Human) just announced their annual Security Awareness
Survey<https://survey.sans.org/jfe/form/SV_1C6uN9LvbZxgPzf>. Each year SANS takes a snapshot of the global security
awareness community in order to create a report that you can use to benchmark and improve your security awareness
program. If you are involved in (or help run) your campus awareness program, please consider taking this survey. Note:
This survey is open to all sectors, not just higher education, but they appreciate our participation. (We had an
amazing number of responses last year, which enabled EDUCAUSE to write an additional report specific to higher ed in
2016.)

If you have already taken the survey, thank you for your participation. If you have not taken the survey yet, please
consider doing so by the deadline — Friday, December 16. The survey has 20 questions and should only take about 5
minutes. You have the option to remain anonymous when responding.

For those who complete the survey, you can be entered into a raffle and you’ll receive early access to the 2017 report.

We also hope you can help spread the word to your security awareness colleagues throughout higher ed. Here is a blog
post with more details: https://securingthehuman.sans.org/blog/2016/12/05/the-sans-security-awareness-survey

Thank you,
Valerie
