Tool needed for smart devices

With more and more executives and others in the organization possessing smart devices (ipads, iphones, etc) that can 
either connect to and or store university informatio (maybe university supplied)  I am looking for tools that can be 
utilized to access these devices if said person is terminated and has placed a pin or other access control on the 
device.
