Hello all,
Duquesne University had and MSSP for 4 years and just brought the services back in-house. I really liked the company we 
engaged but there are some important things you need to have ready in your own house before expecting an MSSP to best 
serve your needs.

By the way, I priced out nearly a dozen MSSP services and solutions. So I do know the market and what is good and bad 
about most of the major providers.

Happy to talk with anyone about our experience. Keep in mind we are a small shop so some of you with large security 
teams may be in a different position than my University.

Hello,

We are considering MSSP services to complement our WPI security team. Primarily we are interested in MSSP offerings 
that provide the primary SOC function during off-hours (after 5 PM weekdays)  and weekend support. However, we would 
also be interested in MSSP services to back up our on-site team during normal work hours.

I would be interested in hearing from any University that currently uses or is thinking about using MSSP services. Can 
you share the service provider you currently use and/or would recommend I speak with?
